Ease and Heal your Gut Problems Naturally.

A good digestive system is the key to our overall health. If your digestive health is in tiptop condition, it automatically makes your physical and mental health perfect. Due to daily consumption of processed foods, it is no surprise that our digestive health is abused day in and day out.

Let us look at some of the ways in which we can stop this abuse:

Meditation

Regular meditation twice a day helps in improving digestion. A 30-minute session in the morning and in the evening everyday does wonders to your digestive tract. Meditation also helps relieve stress, which again is a cause of many digestive disorders.

Chew your food

Digestion begins in the mouth. If you have chewed your food properly, it becomes easy for the digestive system to work on it.

Avoid Processed Foods

Fast foods are high in sugar, oils, and salt and are harmful to your body, as they do not provide any sort of nutrition.

Eat fermented or food that has been cultured

Fermented and cultured foods are high in “good bacteria” and help in the natural regeneration of your digestive environment. Foods like kefir, sauerkraut, fermented vegetables, Kimchi, or Kombucha are good for your system.

Look after your liver

Look after your liver by increasing your intake of carrots, beetroot, green leafy vegetables and fresh juices. Your digestive health can be improved by supporting your liver to work to its full capacity.

Hydration

It is important to drink plenty of water for your digestive system to function properly. If possible, drink a glass of warm water with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Herbal teas like ginger, fennel, and fenugreek are also a good way of staying hydrated as well as supporting your digestive tract.

Increase Probiotic Intake

Probiotics are good bacteria that help in improving the health of your gut. Foods like yoghurt, cottage cheese, miso, wheat grass, and spirulina are rich in probiotics.

It is important to understand how your body works and what makes it tick so that you can support it to the maximum. Your body is a very clever machine and will always communicate with you if it has issues. All you need to do is keep your eyes and ears tuned to what your gut is trying to tell you.
